It is our great privilege in providing back up support for the welfare and development of people of Surkhet district in close coordination with local government, UNDP and other major contributors. We as a social non-profit organization has been continually delivering social development services to the needy people of rural remote areas. The entire team members of this organization are fully committed in serving people, which has heartedly inspired the organization and team to fulfill the needs of community people in further time.
Since the establishment of this organization, Interdependent Society Surkhet (ISS) is particularly focusing to socio-economic transformation of community by working in the areas of health, education, micro-enterprise development, alternative energy, community infrastructure development etc. During this COVID-19 pandemic time, ISS has painstakingly stick to support to returnee migrants and vulnerable population of Surkhet. The entire team members are working as a humanitarian support for resilient of community people through agricultural farming mainly responding the issues in relation to economic upliftment.
We have scaled up various community based development initiatives and expanded our program coverage areas to make access of vulnerable population for mainstreaming of development. During many ups and downs including in difficult times, the donors, community people, stakeholders, technical partners and staffs who are involved in institutional development of this organization are really back force of in the journey of development interventions of our program in the field areas.
As our interventions are evidence based and focused to results, we have published lesson learned, major challenges and positive changes in the lives of the people in our annual publication report. Last but not least, my sincere thanks goes to all the donors, contributors, beneficiaries, stakeholders and people who supported us directly and indirectly in our social and economic transformational movement. Similarly, board members and committed staffs are the vital force, which are life giving force for the institutional development of organization.
