Project Completion report of PGRP

In coordination with Birendranagar Municipality and funded by UNDP, Interdependent Society Surkhet is implementing Promoting Green Recovery Project from 19th June 2021- 30 June 2022. This project completion report covered the period of Jun 2021 to Jun 26, 2022. It highlights the key activities implemented, and the results of the activities so far. The project was implemented focusing on the main objective promote greenery and promote green employment opportunities for the marginalized people in the municipality. With the principle of 'leave no one behind' and 'reach furthest behind the first', the project is focused on preparing a comprehensive plan for Urban Waste Management, building a waste management system, and providing green job opportunities to vulnerable people, women, and youth engaging on waste management and plantation activities.
